The day before I was listening to "Me or him" from "Radio K.A.O.S." and I noticed at the end of track a sentence in the back ground. The man says: "Do you really think Iranian terrorist would have taken Americans hostage if Ronald Reagan was president?"
I know lots of foreigners and home citizens. I respect them for their role in human society. It is thoroughly a personal and individual respect and I hope there is such respect mutually. But from a nation point of view I saw no signs of respect between the two countries.
Any way I have no clue if Roger calls

Well, about Roger, I think he expresses what he has experienced, if he ever had traveled to Iran, he could have an idea about Iranians as he has for arabs. But I don't care for that he didn't mention the Iranian majority there, that's the concept and idea which is important. Do you remember that boy who was telling about some DJ concert in Dubai and the singer who had encouraged the audience to repeat the government's slogan: Nuclear energy is our definite right?!!!
Roger never is like that who ride over the audience like James Hetfield! ;)
About respect, I have another example, I saw an old probably 70's pink panther episode sometime ago. PP had a dock and sent him to travel around the world. When the dock got back home, there were some stick labels on his luggage. The names of the cities he had visited, and they were: Paris, Rome and Tehran!
Tehran was an important city in the 70's to be mentioned as other important capitals like Paris and Rome.
Anyway I think it's more complicated than that.
btw, you better had a link in my post's comments to your respect post.
Well, I know that time is an important issue and the lyrics of the song and back vocals are most different and far from the songwriter view.
ok,Monkey you got the link
